JULY 2010
Dear Neighbour,
The construction team at Bouygues UK is happy to be updating you on our progress at St Paul’s Way Community School!
The external envelope is nearing completion and St Paul’s Way is beginning to look like an exciting new school. The windows are all installed and the insulated render is almost finished. The rain screen Trepa cladding that wraps the 250 seat auditorium is underway (due to be completed in July 2010). The roof has also been completed, including the five large glass rooflights which form a main feature of the buildings design.
The hoarding to St
Paul’s Way has now been removed and replaced with temporary solid panels to
allow for the external works to interface with the existing pedestrian
footpath. Kerb edges have been installed
and block paving is due to commence July 2010.
A rain water harvesting tank has been installed to the North of the
school to recycle rainwater.
The internal fit-out is progressing in well and is on time for Decembers completion. Partition walls have been installed, electrical light fittings are being fitted and decoration has commenced.
Finally, we are
please to announce that BYUK’s project team
have been awarded a Considerate Contractors Scheme Bronze Award for
achieving beyond compliance.
