Schedule & Progress

• Phase 1 - commenced 5th January 2009

• Phase 1 - completion 31st December 2010

• Phase 2 – commence 6th January 2011

• Phase 2 & Project completion 12th October 2011

• The current target programme is being progressed to complete Phase 1 works earlier than the contract and this will be reported on as the project progresses.

Progress this month:

  • Continuation of all services at all zones
  • Completion of works to external works at South/ West / North elevation (excl soft)
  • Completion to main roof finishes 
  • Internal progression of FF&E etc
  • Commissioning process continued
  • All areas to a finished level for snagging in process.

Construction next month:

  • Continuation of all service works to all zones for final fix & commissioning
  • Continuation of works to external works at generally to Phase 1
  • Continuation of finishes for snagging etc.

Ten East London Apprentices Recruited for Two Year Construction NVQ

Ten young people from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets have been recruited by construction company Bouygues UK for a two year apprenticeship scheme that will result in an NVQ in Construction (Level 2) qualification at the end of the training period.
